Inukshuk Dish
Hand made soapstone Inuk Dish by Canadian Inuk artist: Josie Oqaituk of Sanikiluaq
Aproximate Dimentions: 3.25" x 2.25" x 6" For centuries Inuit have used Inuksuit as a vital form of communication. The Vancouver 2010 Inukshuk is a symbol of Inuit art and culture that is being shared with the world during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Made by Inuit from a single piece of local stone, each Inukshuk is unique to the artist's sytle and vision. Some may be highly polished, while others may reveal their original form. No two are exactly alike.
